10th International DOCOMOMO Conference

The Dutch chapter of DOCOMOMO is honored to host the 10th International DOCOMOMO Conference with the general theme, The Challenge of Change. This conference marks the 20th anniversary of DOCOMOMO.

The venue will be the Van Nelle factory in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. This renowned Modernist icon will accommodate the Parallel Paper and Case Study Presentations, roundtable sessions, the second edition of the International DOCOMOMO Student Workshop and public evening lectures by distinguished invited speakers. Pre- and postconference tours to Dutch MoMo buildings and other landmarks of Dutch architecture will also be part of the conference program.

Registration

The registration fee includes attendance at the opening ceremony on September 16  in Delft, participation in the conference,  conference luncheons, closing event on September 19, and a copy of the proceedings.

DOCOMOMO International members € 400
Nonmembers € 500
Authors (of accepted papers) € 300
Registrants from underprivileged countries* € 150
Students ** € 150


* Underprivileged countries are countries that are not classified as a high-income economy in the July 2007 World Bank list of economies. According to the 9th DOCOMOMO International Council Meeting in September 2006, the list of underprivileged countries  includes Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Malta, Slovenia.

** Simultaneously with the online registration, students should e-mail a letter from their supervisor confirming their student status to registration@docomomo2008.nl. Please note that students who participate in the student workshop do not have to register for the conference.
