This is a biennial program that will be awarded in 2009
with a submission deadline to be determined.
To encourage excellence in the architectural design and planning
of libraries, the AIA and the American Library Association/Library
Administration and Management Association created this award to
distinguish accomplishments in library architecture.

Submissions
The submission deadline is January 5, 2009. All payments will be
made online and a link to the submission site will be posted once
it is activated. Please check back for details or
contact the Honors & Awards department at honorsawards@aia.org.

Eligibility
All entries shall be library building projects designed by
architects licensed in the United States. The libraries may be
built anywhere in the world and the program is open to all types of
libraries that permit public access and that have been completed
since December 1, 2002.
